Dinner & Workshop with Bridget Jankowski

Bridget Jankowski will lead a presentation and demonstration on Body Mapping for organists and singers at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Akron on Tuesday, March 13, 2018. Ms. Jankowski is Director of Music at St. Matthew Catholic Church in Akron. She works with teachers and students on movement and technical issues both in her home studio and via workshops, including the six-hour course “What Every Musician Needs to Know about the Body.” Her work has helped injured and uncomfortable musicians of all ages overcome technical limitations and gain greater awareness, ease, and natural movement in their playing. She incorporates Body Mapping concepts into her weekly lessons with piano students, as well as with her church choirs and cantors.
