Celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the St. Martin's-Miles Park pipe organ at St. Martin's Episcopal Church

Free and open to the public

Guest Organist, James Clouser, CAGO, ChM, will present a recital on the 19343 Holtkamp pipe organ which was renovated, expanded and installed in 2001 by the Holtkamp Organ Company. Following a fire at the church in 2007, the organ was restored and reinstalled. Built originally for Miles Park Presbyterian Church, this pipe organ was important in the history and development of the Holtkamp Organ Company. James Clouser won First Prize in the 22003 AGO/Quimby Region V Competition for Young Organists and performed at the 2004 National Convention.

The first half of the program is especially family-friendly, opening with the Bach "Toccata and Fugue in D Minor" and including Burton's "Rex: The King of Instruments" and Akerley's "A Sweet for Mother Goose."

The second half of the program includes works by Cleveland composers and ends with the Duruflé "Prelude and Fugue on ALAIN."

Director of Music Ministries, Sandy Tittle, celebrates 15 years of service at St. Martin's in Chagrin Falls.
